Each card is sent covered with a protective card designed to protect all the luxury fabrics used to create the card. Since most of the cards have 3-dimensional decorations, the cards are normally over 5mm thick and thus require a stamp for a "large letter" (52p Royal Mail price as of 7 Apr 2008).
When you order your cards, you will able to choose from 3 options regarding shipping the card(s) to you:
- Send to you to sign the card, for you to give to the recipient - £1 postage and packing
- Send to you to sign the card, for you to send to the recipient (I will include put the appropriate stamp on the envelope, ready for you to send) - £1.52 postage and packing
- Send the card directly to the recipient, with a hand-written message from you inside. You will be able to choose what date you would like me to send the card, and what message you would like inside. - £2 postage and packing
You will choose your options during the checkout phase.
Once I have received your order, I will ship the card to you within 12 working hours (where working hours are 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday in the UK), unless you specify that you would like the card posted on a specific date, in which case I will post it on that particular date.
I will normally send the card by standard first class post . If you would like the card(s) insured during postage, then you should choose the Royal Mail Special Delivery option, however this is quite an expensive option, and I have found that my cards very rarely get lost and therefore isn't really worthwhile, unless you are ordering a significant quantity of cards. Also, you have to sign for Special Delivery, which means you must be in when it is delivered. But I recommend you choose this option if buying more than £20 of cards.
